Today on the EHc (WED, 15 APRIL):

Good morning!🌞

Today is a Ten of Clubs Day
in the Seven of Hearts Week
(Week 7 ) of the current EHc solar year. ✴️

The Sun is in Pisces and Mercury is the Weekly Ruling Planet.

It’s smack dab in the middle of the first season of the year, the Season of Hearts/fire — mid-spring in the Northern Hemisphere.🪺

Around the world, this day is coincident with the ancient festival of Beltane (commonly known as May Day).🧺

A symbolic fire (the element of the Season of Hearts) was one of the main rituals of the festival, helping to celebrate the return of life and fertility to the world. A traditional Maypole gathering was also part of the celebration.🔥

Rooted in ancient Celtic traditions, Beltane is one of eight festivals on the Wheel of the Year, which depicts time as continuous and cyclical — with an invitation to pause about every six-and-a-half weeks to mark the passage of time in relation to what is happening in the natural world.☸️

Each of these festivals are coincident with the Solstices, Equinoxes, and Cross-Quarter (or Mid-Season) days marked along the EHc Solar Year. Celebrating these seasonal shifts is non-dogmatic and something that anyone can do, no matter your religion or faith tradition.🥳
