We’ve been so busy, it seems the ol’ wheel of time has been spinning a bit too fast of late, but it just wouldn’t be right to let the September Equinox pass us by without a mention…. (9-22-24 Gc) ✨

LEO
Leo is one of the twelve constellations of the zodiac. It is located in the northern celestial hemisphere. One of the 48 constellations described by the 2nd century AD astronomer Ptolemy, it remains one of the 88 modern constellations today.
Its name is Latin for “Lion,” and its astronomical symbol is ♌︎. To the ancient Greeks, it represented the Nemean Lion killed by the mythical Greek hero Heracles as one of his “twelve labors.” It is one of the most easily recognizable constellations in the sky. This is due to its many bright stars and a distinctive shape that is reminiscent of the crouching lion it depicts.

On the EartHeaven Calendar…
Along its annual ecliptic path, the Sun enters Leo on the first day of September (the 7th month on the EHc). This is because the EartHeaven calendar has been adjusted and realigned to reflect contemporary Geo-Astro-Solar realities. It falls within the Season of Diamonds/water, the third quarter (weeks 27-39) of the EHc solar year (comprising September/Leo, October/Virgo, November/Libra). ✨
